The FL-SlimLine
The FL-SlimLine is a wireless microwave moisture measurement system for rotating mixer drums. The probe rotates together with the mixer pan, enabling reliable moisture measurement directly during the mixing process.
The specific installation design reduces material buildup on the measuring surface. At the same time, lower shear forces occur compared with conventional rod probes, minimizing wear and extending the service life of the sensor.
How it Works
The FL-SlimLine measuring probe is installed directly in the mixer floor and rotates together with the mixer pan. This keeps the measuring surface in motion throughout the mixing process, significantly reducing material buildup and mechanical stress.
Moisture is measured directly during the ongoing mixing process and transmitted wirelessly to the transmitter unit. In addition, the mix temperature can also be recorded. This enables reliable process monitoring while keeping maintenance requirements low.
